Leon, I was watching the video of you cutting with a 410. At time index 1:00 minute, you pick up the saw off the ground and the rpm's drop and you have to rev it up quick. I have a couple SXLAO that do this also. Do you know what causes this and is there a way to fix it? The reason I put this in fuel system is because the problem is solved when I switch carbs.

Switching the carb and getting a cure implies it's in the tuning of the one carb. IF the L is set a bit rich, it will load up on an extended idle and fuel will puddle in the crankcase. Picking the saw up and allow the fuel to hit the transfer port and flood the cylinder.
Alternatively if the carb isn't the issue, this is a classic sign of a bad crankshaft seal. In the case of my 410, I believe that's what it ended up being.
