Decided to give this guy a second chance. He is the one that burned me on the carb for my 450. He said it came off a 550 and it didn't have a connector for a pulse line. I bought a replacement fuel cap for the Stihl 032 AV from him. I put it on the saw and tipped the saw forward. Fuel was just pouring from the vent hole. So I sent him a message politely stating the problem and asking how to solve it. He insulted me again. I took a screen shot of the message.

I've had dealings with him in the past.I'd send him a message asking about something 7 he would NEVER reply.I agree,he's an A-hole.IIRC he doesn't take returns either, but you should be covered by eBay's 90 day money back guarantee.

The world is a changing and not for the better.
Unfortunately, more and more of these eBay high volume sellers are getting greedy (i.e. huge price mark-up) and at the same time becoming real $%^# with little to no customer service! I have created a fairly good list of smaller suppliers that don't even do business on eBay (e.g., Leon). In my opinion, eBay is becoming more and more a rip-off marketplace. Go old school(i.e. personal contact/relationships with good customer service) when at all possible. I have no doubt it may take longer to source a rare item but it is worth it to me to avoid these butt-heads!

I recently had problems with that rude SOB over a chainsaw air filter.
It took 3 ebay cases to get it resolved.
He sent a clutch instead of the filter & then called me stupid!

Thanks for the heads up. I used to think somebody with a 98% positive rating on Ebay seemed pretty good but now I look for sellers in the high 99's, like 99.8+. I haven't had any more issues since I raised my standard on Ebay seller ratings.
Sometimes it's tough to find something anywhere other than Ebay or Amazon and I just about will not buy from Amazon.

I reported him to ebay for abusive language. Please look at both of my pictures. If he has treated you this way please come forward and report him to ebay.

I picked up a spare Tillotson HL1A carburetor from them recently, admittedly for no good reason other than to keep a spare in inventory. It was advertised "in good condition" alongside "may need to be rebuilt". The shipping was lightning-fast, so there's a plus. Of course the carb is full of shellac and oily gummy bears, which I really don't mind, but it was also missing 3 of the screws which hold the gaskets and diaphragms to the carb body! Considering I paid over $20 for it, I'm slightly frustrated that I need to chase new screws in addition to a rebuild kit. In all fairness the ad only had one photo and of course it was a photo of the top of the carb and not the base around the turret (where the screws were missing). Its unfortunate when they fail to disclose any missing components. I didn't truly know what I was buying, so it's probably 49% my fault. Oh well. Maybe I'll give them another chance, or maybe I won't.
