I bought a 410 from the original owner two days ago. He worked for a railroad company here in Wisconsin. He used the saw to cut black walnut along the tracks. The saw is in amazing condition. The bottom has almost all paint intact. Anyway, the fuel is spilling through the vent on the tank. I don't understand how to remove the bronze plug. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very appreciative. Thanks everyone.

It may have been removed before, there is a small chip on the outer circumference of the casting near that white plastic coupler...use that area to drive an angled pick into the bronze and gently pry it up and out. If the bronze filter is damaged beyond reuse there is one available on eBay. Good luck with it.
EDIT: Yeah, an optical illusion, under high magnification it looks like a chip but it's actually some crud.
You may call me crazy, but I removed the plastic coupler and there is no chip or recessed area to pry out the filter. I think I have to drill a hole and send a screw in to pull it out. I've done that on a couple fuel caps before when I couldn't remove the bronze filter.
I received the filter. I removed the old one with a screw and a crow bar, the screen was really in there. No damage to the saw. There was a new duck bill in there, but there was a big crack in the side. New duck bill and screen went in fine. I tapped the screen in enough that it is tight. I left a lip so it can be removed without destroying the screen. I'm not sure if it will work. I think the screen needs to be be all the way down to hold the duck bill in place.
