Looking for the part of the oil line on the 330 that is on the outside of the oil tank, with the flared end, or can I use a substitute line that fills the hole in the tank?

I believe I've successfully used 1/8" X 1/4" hose as a replacement for that later style hose. I know for a fact I used Motoseal around a 1/8" X 3/16" hose years ago; less clean for sure but it did work.

I installed a 1/4 OD line but the pump isn't working, took it apart and the diaphragm is a little bit stiff but no damage, can it be soaked in something to soften it up? Oil is getting past the 1/4 OD hose not a lot but may need to seal it up

DOT4 brake fluid will soften the diaphragm up a bit. I had a pump that I installed on a dry system a few weeks ago. I was able to watch the oil through the Tygon hose and it took 4-5 minutes of running and throttle blips to get oil to the bar pad.
