I've yet to rebuild a Tilly HK carb successfully.Today was HK #2.For the life of me I couldn't get the metering lever rod to release the lever so I could put a new needle in,so I said screw it,I'll just put new gaskets & diaphragms in.I put it all together & the carb won't hold any pressure whatsoever.I went to turn the lo needle & it's like it's welded in place.Damn good thing I bought 3 Walbro carbs on feebay, one of 'em comes with the throttle linkage rod that everyone thinks is made of gold.

I've said it before...the HK is my least favorite carb to work on! The way the fuel inlet arm axle pin sets into place makes it very easy to end up bound or cock-eyed. I've also seen the arm gummed to the axle with fuel residue.
