Ive ordered a lot from these idiots over the years. I recently had to return a Piston and ring set and received a shitty message from him about it. To my better judgement I went to order something today and received this message on sleezebay. The seller isn't accepting bids or offers from you. Yes I have multiple accounts and could easily purchase under another user name but Screw him/them and the crap they sell. Not another penny will be spent with them. Thank goodness I returned it before I started seeing all the post about his piston and ring problems. Only thing I have for LEE is the middle finger rigid and stiff!
Have a nice day.

I could understand that crap on feebay, but what would he do if you ordered stuff from his web site?Don't feel bad,I must have a half dozen sellers who've done the same thing to me - dozer dude for returning a part even though he says he accepts returns, marshall (something) because I complained about a saw I bought that he didn't list all that was wrong or missing, another ass from Iowa for returning a part they had improperly listed,& the latest one is ladybug007.She'd have a saw listed for $50 or MO & it wasn't worth $20 IMO,so that's what I'd offer.I guess she thought she had gold & I was low-balling her. If Lee from LRB continues to screw people over like he is with his crappy pistons,he's gonna end up pissing someone off who's gonna contact the U.S.Attorney General.Actually I'm surprised that someone hasn't done so already.

I haven't had any problems with Lil Red barn yet. but have never ordered a piston from them. Now ladybug007 on E Bay I have yet to get anything that was worth the effort of bidding much else paying and waiting for. It is just getting harder and harder to find items that are worth it.

I've been burned by ladybug. It's definitely buyer beware there. 3/4 of the time every saw looks like it was pulled out of the ocean and parts aren't matching up. All of them have the same description that "they don't know very much about chainsaw" but I beg to differ. Just my 2¢

Add good ole Randy Duncan parts on fleece bay to the list. I got blocked by surprise for asking why several of their fleece bay v belt listing had same part number but different sizes. Did not get a answer to my question, just a block for asking? ? Seems they must think they are the only seller in town and special. I just added them to my list and moved on. (and you know what list I'm talking about)

Unfortunately things have changed in the past years. My saws had gone on hold because I could hardly walk any more. I had total knee replacement, Jan of 22 and the other April 22. Soon I was mobile and I dove into my saws. Once I started ordering parts I QUICKLY realized parts had quad tripled in price except for a few sellers, that have always been a go to. Leons is a perfect example. However I found many more parts were available, than I had seen in years, which turned into incorrect listings etc. Many selling parts now haven't a clue what they have but its VINTAGE, ANTIQUE, RARE blah blah blah. My love for Homelites will continue but total restorations will be rare until I can justify the cost. So for now..... Ive never had a "new" saw and at 57 I decided its time. In the last 6 months, between my son and I, we have acquired a brand new Stihl MS362, MS271,MS180 and a Husky 455. My beloved Homelites can now rest because we are having a blast with the new herd.

I've been put on the shelf myself with a knuckle replacement on my hand last month.I'll need my left thumb joint operated on too as soon as they deem my knuckle has healed enough.I love working on chainsaws in general & have quite a few that need attending to.I do what I can for now,but I'm severely limited.I have a few Stihls myself - MS310 (2006),MS250 (2012),& 017 (Bought at a yard sale last summer).I also have a Husky 235 (2014) & a Husky 41 (2013).These saws are OK to use,but they just don't have the torque that I like with the older saws.An old saying that I saw on one of the forums I belong to - "that which runs fast doesn't last". As for the cost of parts,I agree, they've gotten way out of hand. The cost of used saws is the same. It's almost gotten to the point with me that I might have to give up the chainsaw repairs due to the rising cost of parts.
