1ST picture is the gas caps and tank from my 2nd 240 saw, second picture is caps from the saw I completed.What are the felt pads (for lack of a better description)vents maybe? UT and Ser# for both saws UT # for 1st picture 10629 ser # 702670626 the completed saw UT# 10625-R Ser # HJ1040087 The numbers may help In explanation of the different tanks and caps

Where the felt pads are there should be a duckbill, there are the vent for the tanks, the other one uses vented caps, which is why the caps are different.

Thanks undee70ss I thought as much, the holes are pretty large for a duckbill, guess I'll check Leon's site for them .Have you seen that before, the felt job or did someone just stuff them in the holes oil was everywhere.Thankyou for your advice

Just read in another area on the site a larger duckbill #96841 could that be the ones I need for my 240 tanks?

Homelite part number 69451. You can find them on ebay or Lil Red Barn as singles or in multi packs. Price varies greatly.

Any saw shop that deals with Oregon or Stens can order the Homelite # 69451 duck bill valves under Sten # 610-345
or Oregon # 07-004
