Seems to me that there should not be fuel on the wrong side of the diaphragm. But that is what I found when I disassembled the carb. However could not see a hole. What say you. Thanks in advance.

Yes, seems odd. What carb is it? Maybe fuel found it's way there from another spot on the carb is about my only guess. Dan

That is a Zama carb. I think there may be a small hold in the diaphragm, although I could
not see one. It had China on the carb so I ordered another carb.

Took a chance and put a $13.66 Chinese carb on this orange saw. Seems to start and run. Who knows how long it will go.
