I'm chainsawlady's other grandson, Jeff. I grew up turning wrenches on Homelites with my dad and grandparents. Most of you know Joyce passed away earlier this year. I promised her I would find a home for her parts inventory. I prefer to sell it as a whole to someone who will help others keep these legends running. I have organized it the best I can. It consists of NOS, used parts, new bars, and many manuals. We are located in Napoleon, Indiana (some of you have visited). Contact me if you are interested and we can arrange a meeting in person or via Facetime.
I also want to thank everyone on this page. My grandmother really enjoyed talking with folks and finding parts to help a person out. It kept her going to 95 years old.

If I lived closer I'd be very interested in taking the lot of parts that were your grandmother's.I haven't been able to drive for 30 yrs.now due to an hereditary eye disease, which makes it difficult for me to travel.I hope someone here can help you out.

Do you happen to have a rough idea or range of how sizable of an investment a collector would be looking at? I have done this in the past with my garden tractor hobby, slowly moving parts along to help others or my own projects, and really only hoping for a good breakeven in the end. However, it can be a lot of cash to have tied up in the garage, and my last go-round is just now wrapping up, roughly 9 years later. My wife is less than thrilled with a >1% return on $6-7K of our money over such a long period of time. I sure built up some friendships though!

Grandma would be so appreciative of your efforts to find a home for the inventory. I did business with her only twice but a good experience. I had hoped to drive out from Ohio to see her but her health gave out before I could get there.
