I just bought a 240 from a one time owner on Feebay for $35.The saw looks to be in cosmetically good shape.The seller said he bought it new & started having a hard time starting,then it wouldn't start at all.I'll go through the fuel system & see if that cures it first.It should make a nice limbing saw.

I finally got the 240 today.Not exactly what I expected.The air filter cover is missing & I think the fuel line is missing too.I had to put the front handle back on & then I saw that the kill switch wire was broken off of the switch.I re-attached the wire to the switch,but the saw wouldn't fire.I unplugged the wire from the coil (ignition module) & it fired on a prime in the cylinder.It has a simple slide switch,which I've never really seen one "go bad",just usually needs to be cleaned.Also,there's a chunk missing out of the recoil pulley.It'll take a bit of work to get this saw operational again.
