It's a watch fob..........but I'm not sure how rare it is. Back in the 80's these fobs were the rage, and lots of people started reproducing the popular ones and making new ones for just about everything under the sun. Way way back in the day they were given to dealers to give to customers as a freebee handout. Seems odd there's no big brand logo on it, other than the miniscule Homelite on the gas tank, or specific dealer's name and address cast into the back. Wouldn't be a very good advertising tool, which is what they were made for. My Dad use to get them whenever my uncle, who owned a construction company, would get them when he bought a new piece of equipment. Since then I've given my Dad hundreds of them for his 'collection'. This one looks very modern, not vintage..........but you never know until you look at it closely. But if you're a Homelite fanatic........you just gotta have it!!! Good fun.
