I got my 410 out today to put a new switch on it that's been sitting here for about a yr.,& in the process of replacing the switch I noticed that one of the oil lines going to the manual oiler is kinked.I had my friend Al go through this saw last yr.& get it going for me.I fired the saw up after sitting for a yr.& it fired up on about ther 10th pull. The automatic oiler seems to be working fine, but I'd like to have the manual oiler working too.I'll get a pic of the kink in the line on here tomorrow if I can.I'm thinking that the line needs a spring in it to prevent the kinking?

The IPL's don't show a spring...is tit thick wall hose? Something with a 1/16" wall shouldn't kink easily at all.

It's a standard Tygon 3/32x3/16 line.

Since I got nowhere with this post,I went to the hardware store & bought a 50 cent spring & installed it on the kinked oil line today. It oils beautifully now.I was only able to utilize half of the spring because I couldn't get it on the line only halfway. It took the kink out though.
