Good afternoon I can't seem to find a Walbro carburetor. I'm looking for a Walbro WA-19A. Walbro said this model went obsolete in 1985. A re-build kit isn't a problem but the plastic inlet elbow is cracked and loose causing my saw to leak fuel while off and suck air while trying to run. If I can fix/replace the cracked plastic fuel inlet elbow I could forgo a complete carburetor but that fix is above my pay grade. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Jon

Hi Jon, I don't know much about the WA-19A, but I looked it up online and all the ones I see have a steel elbow, not plastic. Unless I'm looking at the wrong thing. That would seem to be a fairly standard threaded barb fitting that shouldn't be impossible to find. If you can unscrew yours......just measure the thread pitch and diameter and look for the fitting online. I'm sure guys on here have them laying in the bottom of their toolboxes, but I don't mess too much with the smaller Homeys. Here's the pic of the WA-19A I found on eBay........is that the correct elbow you're looking for? ;O) bob

Worst case scenario, as long as the plastic isn't totally destroyed, you can seal it up with JB Weld. I'd done that on a number of later model carbs.
