By chance would anyone be able to tell me the Zama M7 part number for a replacement main nozzle check valve assembly? It is the press in style. It is .235" diameter and .276" length. Yeah it is a McCulloch carb.
I found a seller on ebay that has one that appears possibly correct, listed as a part # 007245. If anyone might help with any information, I could sure use a bit of help finding the right part! Thanks!

My records show that part number is used on a C1U-K52 carb. Do you have any other numbers, such as C1S / CC1 / C2 on the carb? I have microfiche cards from late 70' up to early 90's, for these saws. If you have model & year, I can check for you.

Thanks for that information. It seems I need a different part. I'm contacting Leon C for a lead on what I need. McCulloch Eager Beaver Mini Mac style approximately early 1980's. Pressed in brass type valve. Should'a stayed with Homelite's ---

bobby167- If I could trouble you- I have found a picture of a Zama #A007242 that is brass and looks very much like the one in my carb. Does that # show up in your information? This as a Zama M7 carb, specific to the Eager Beaver McCulloch saw.

No trouble. That's what we all should be here for, to help each other out.I'll see if I can find that number & what carbs it is used in. If Leon can't help you out I'll do my best. Now that I know more information, will dig deeper. Did you search ZAMA site? If push comes to shove, I can see if I have a carb. I know I have one of those engines here somewhere. Also I just purchased what was left, from a closed Homelite dealer. Shop has been closed for over 25 years. I have boxes of used carbs, mostly Walboro, but there are some Zama's. I'll see what I might have, could be some Zama kits in this mess.

Yep- I have been on the prowl, with little success. I need a valve JUST LIKE the one on Leons video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIoKg1Q5z9kThe Zama M1-M7 nozzle check valve pieces are apparently the same. Just can't find the correct one to replace my defective unit...yet.

Yea. Those parts can be hard to find. Suggestion, I think Walboro MDC carbs were used on these saws also. If you can't find parts for the ZAMA. You can check them out in Acers site. There is a kit on the auction site, part #215292, that is listed for this carb.
