I found this nice Super2 in my shed last spring & brought it up to the garage & to be hopnest I forgot about it till I stumbled over it about 2 weeks ago.I put a new fuel filter in it & some fuel & after a couple pulls it fired right up.It only neederd a minor carb adjustment, but it didn't oil. After taking a look in the oil tank I saw the duck bill & the fitting that goes into the oil line were gone.I figured it fell off & into the bottom of the oil tank.Sure enough, after adding a little gas & swishing it around I tipped it upside down into a container & there it was.The duck bill was gone, but I had that all important fitting.I put a new duck bill on the fitting & put it back into the oil line & fired up the saw.It oiled, but only for a very short time.I looked again & it had fallen off the oil line again.I ended up pulling the engine out of it's case to put new oil lines on & what a giant PITA it was.I must've tried for over an hr.to get the pulse line on the barb, but the other barb was turned at just the wrong angle that prevented me from getting it on the barb. Finally I said to myself that I had to turn the other barb just enough to allow me to get the pulse line hooked onto the barb.I was afraid the barb would break off,but it didn't.I was finally able to hook both lines on to their respective barbs & put the rest of the saw back together.I fired it up & it oils, not quite as much as I'd like, but this is just a trimming saw. It's in remarkable condition too.
