I've drilled a lot of holes in mufflers and opened up many slots with a screwdriver. Took out some spark arrester screens too. We're a long way from a forest around here.

Gotta love our EPA!! They'd prefer if the exhaust gas NEVER came out!!! ;O) It's a Canadian saw tho.. Lol oh well gonna fix it up at work today, really don't play with these plastic saws much but running out of projects, liquidating saws so I can get more projects.. Fixing chainsaws is addicting |

I gutted and put the louvered muffler cover on my 245. Runs damn good.
