This saw was sitting in a box for a couple years now. I bought it from a member here and decided at that time it needed too much work to fix and would just be a parts saw. Fast forward to now and it’s slowly getting back to life. What a POS it was! It actually feels like one of the stronger 922’s that I’ve got at the moment. It was rebuilt with a used top end from eBay and a used crank from another pile of crap that I had laying around. A true resurrection. Lots of work but I’m actually quite proud of this one. Not much to look at but sometimes the more you put into them the more you actually like them! youtu.be/G7iWCfBbRks

Nice one Trevor! I gotta get mine back together again.I tore it down last yr.& it got late in the season,so I boxed it up & put away till this spring/summer.I like to work on saws outside. If I get stuck on something I'll probably be asking you for some help.

Good luck with yours! I’m no expert by any means but I ran into a lot of problems on this one. Still a few bugs and small things to work out but the main mechanics are done.

Excellent!! I think everyone has one of those ol' 900 series Homeys in a box under their workbench that they'll get to someday....so I'm glad you got to yours. Heck, after seeing your video I went and pulled mine out.....gave it a nice look over.....and slid it back under the bench. I'll get to it.....I swear I will. Actually, I did just install an air deflector so the darn air cleaner cover would stop falling off whenever I slid it around. So thanks for the motivation!!! At this rate mine will be up and running in oh....2050 or so. Although I'm not sure I will be.
