Hey fellas, Was looking over the old C-71 today cuz I noticed the handle was kind of loose. It had been repaired once on the bottom and it broke at the repair again, so its time to replace. Its one of the green handles with a black grip. Can anyone help?

I will try to attach a picture of some C series saws. None of them have the handle you describe. I do have some green painted ones but I believ they were on the XP series saws. I will have to do some looking. Bill

OBR, I have a used one somewhere with the rubber grip. No green though, but off a C-7. Let me know if you still need one.

I have seen some pretty odd colored front bars on Homelites, anything is possible. I have a full wrap for the 925 type AV model somewhere, it wouldn't fit a C type.

Well, I did a bit of digging on my own, turns out at some point a tree had been dropped on the saw and the front handle broken...twice... The first time the handle was replaced (with the current one (found who knows where) and the second time the current handle was repaired...I have found an unpainted one with a green grip...how original would that be?

It should be ok, this 600 has a green grip, I like the shiney finish better than the scratchable paint. nothing beats chrome on steel.

Randy,
That bar is the bars I like the best. I wish I could find many just like that one.
