I have seen a few of these number decals on the drive cases of some Homelite chainsaws. Are these some ID for the assembler of the saw, or a sub-assembly perhaps? I've seen numbers onto the 100's range. Any ideas on their purpose? Just a curiosity on my part.

View AttachmentI have never noticed stickers like that, I have come accross small white round stickers on parts, and ink stamped numbers, but all my saws are Terry saws, figured they are random inspection marks
