I have an xl 130 and the jug gasket broke when I pulled it. Can I use Loctite 515 and the Loctite primer to seal this? It's used on snowmobile bottom end cases, metal to metal, all the time.

Probably. If you end up with a difference in thickness between the sealer and the gasket, you'll change the timing slightly. Probably not enough to notice, but something to be aware of.
