What are you fellas doing for these NLA seals? Part nos. 53444 and 12306. I'm going to take them to a bearing shop soon but I was wondering if someone here has any insight.

I'm anxiously looking at replies to this question. I've been lucky (so far), but I see the day coming when I'm gonna be asking the same thing. I read your AS thread and there were some good suggestions. Again, great topic!

Still haven't gotten to the bearing shop. Hard to do working midnights. Fortunately, I was digging through my 2100/3100G parts and found a pair of seals 12306 and 53444. I always figured they were for the older saws but I now know differently. That makes 1 12306 and 2 53444. I have a line on another 12306. I do still intend to get to the bearing shop and try to match them up to National numbers.

I just picked up a box of Homelite parts and I thought I saw a seal or two in there. Do you have measurements for that seal?
Also, who are the Homelite gurus? I need some help identifying some of the parts.
From memory: 2 connecting rods 1 or 3 sets of rings air filters (they are just the fabric - not really any plastic on them clutches rewind springs muffler halves 1 complete muffler small springs not-so-small springs (look like starter pawl springs) homelite carbs carb kits a top handle a bunch of thick looking gaskets a bunch of odd looking gaskets other parts that I cannot recall.
Should I take pics and post them up?
I got these as part of a "take it all" deal and want to sell them, but first I need to know which saws they belong to.

A picture of the parts would at least be a start. We can weed out the easy ones and then tackle what's left. Start a new thread in NOS parts

Yes, what A7 said. And for the rods and rings, dimensions would help also. The carbs should have numbers on them that won't hurt in looing them up.

Oh boy, I can see Bill gearing up to get a look at those clutches.
Anyway, I took the seals in to the bearing shop. I may hear back from them later today.

Well, got a call back a few days ago. They can't seem to cross these seals to anything. Only match they got was to a hydraulic cylinder wiper seal with no garter spring so that's out. At least I have 2 NOS pairs. I won't be swapping them out willy-nilly.
