Hi all
In another post "picked up 2 beauties" this is the Homelite I thought was a 6-63 but turned out to be 600D. I think I found the correct flywheel cover on feebay and the starter adapter I found in the ipl and bought from Leon. I still need a starter I think the number is A-56487-1. The saw started with the rope pull and sounded great. If any one knows what other models use the same starter on if the number has changed it all helps.. thanks

I'm guessing it would be the be the same starter assembly as zip.

There is more than 1 Zip model. The blue flywheel cover that came on this saw did not fit properly. It was very loose all the way around and 2 mounting bolt holes did not line up. Could be from a zip saw. The red one I found through the ipl and ebay fits like a glove and the all the holes line up. Also the part number on the starer adapter is for this saw. As long as it starts on 1 or 2 pulls the rope isn't that bad.
