A while back maybe a year or more I posted about a SXL925 I purchased that had a bow bar on it. The bow bar was clearly too big for it and the adjustment screw had been removed. I hung the bow bar on the wall and figured one day I may use it on something else. Fast forward to today. In recent weeks I have found some spare time for saws and pulled an old C-72 out. I decided to mount the bow bar on it. The bow is too big for the C-72 as well. I'm attaching a few photos for reference. My question is, if its a bow bar for a homelite (not sure it is) and it doesn't fit the pad for a C-72, what saw would this correctly fit? As far as a solution I'm open to a few things right now. If a homelite is out there this will fit, I'm may be in the market for that homeltie. If there is not one out there this would fit I may be open to parting with this bow...cash or trade. www.flickr.com/photos/138659658@N05/shares/isSmw6

Thanks, I was thinking those 700 series gear drive saws probably had a bigger bar mount pattern but wasn’t sure. I’m guessing without forking over a lot of cash, I won’t see one of those in my area anytime soon

Yes it is. I guess one could say if I sold I likely wouldn’t be considered a motivated seller. I’m pondering the purchase of a wiz 66 or 80 and see if it fits. But then part of me wonders if I can’t let this bow offset the cost of a super 1050 lol

The location and angle of the bar stud 'slot' is different, on the asymmetrical Homelite Bow-bar, compared to the one you have . www.ebay.com/itm/Homelite-Wiz-55-Bowsaw-For-Parts-/265015823535
