The bucking spike for the XL 925 is made asymmetrically, and will go on either direction. Does anyone have an idea on the intended orientation that it was designed for? Picture included for our edification:

Thank you for the help and clarification Clasec! This site and the veterans are a valuable resource. You have saved me from being the knucklehead with the upside down dog spike. Appears from the ageing marks that this spike has been upside-down for at least 4 1/2 decades!
