Not sure what the question is...
The coil should not be loose, it should have a ground that is tight to the laminations, can't see from the pictures if it is there. In any case, it should not be loose. It will not ground and if the saw runs, the coil will wear away it's insulation quite quickly.

Is the yellow looking stuff on the coil epoxy? Maybe it has failed and will need to be applied again. It appears to me that the coil has rubbed the rotor.

Don't forget the ground connection, the coil needs to be grounded or it will not work.
