Came across a Blue EZ that seemed a bit unusual and wanted to confirm with those more knowledgeable if it's fully original. First, clutch cover typically has a black background and not clear/blue background. Did the EZ ever have that? Second, the white portion below the starter/recoil cover has an imprinted Homelite logo and not the typical decal logo. Just curious if this would have been original to the saw? Thanks, in advance, for your input.

I have 2 blue EZ saws & the starter is blue & white with the imprinted Homelite logo. The clutch cover (drivecase cover) is also blue & white on one,the other was missing the clutch cover when I bought it,but was lucky enough to find a new blue replacement one.The red & white EZs came along a little later, then were replaced by the SEZs which were red & white at first, then were changed to red & black.

Post the information from the ID tag ( Type and Serial numbers ) or a picture of it. Date of Manufacture will help determine if it has all it's original parts .

Neat little saw. Leon has a video on a blue one like that.
