Just bought a Zip with a Homelite Track Hardened Bar 505-20. Chain is an Oregon with 62 on part that rides in bar.I think the chain is incorrect for this saw right?

The 7 1/16"chain is not very easy to find right? Will.404 work on the same sprocket?

You can install a rim sprocket and run a 3/8 or .404 pitch chain. A Zip will run quite well with a full chisel 3/8 chain.

Ok so should I look for a Homelite rim sprocket and if so what would the part number be?

I purchased an Oregon drum off ebay for my 600D, which should be the same. I'll check the number. I have 7/16, .404, and 3/8" rims for mine.

The Oregon rim sprocket drum I put on my 600D is part #10616. The box has "C-72" written on it. I am not sure it fits a Zip, but the saws are virtually identical. You can probably research it.

Thanks Martin I'll check it out. I may also ask Leon if he has one.
