I have just dismantled a 'new to me' 330 bought off eBay in the UK. It is absolutely covered in sawdust and oily crud, but has the makings of a decent saw. I am going to need an intake boot, as the current one is in 2 pieces, but am struggling to find one in the UK. Do any readers have a clue where I might get one, or am I going to have to source it from across the water? I did try buying one via the Amazon Global program for a reasonable price of about £15 ( around $20 or so) but as soon as I had ordered it I got an email saying they had cancelled the transaction! Buying anything off eBay that ships from the USA is horrendously expensive postage wise - often more than i paid for this saw, so I was hoping to locate one in the UK if anyone can suggest where?
Many thanks, Steve

Hi Steve, what's the part number? I bought a 550 from Ebay (UK) and the intake boot was just rubber mush!! I couldn't find one in the UK and had found one in the USA and was just about to buy it when I found a similar item (intake boot on the cover plate - A70379) which was (I think) less money! Had to pay pretty much the same for potage as I paid for the item itself. I've also just needed to buy the duck bill check valves fitted into the fuel and oil caps - again, couldn't find any in the UK so bought from the USA with the huge postage cost again.
Just found my part numbers I was searching by - part number 12348-A, replaced by up06556.

Part number for the 330 boot is 93838B, and is I believe, unique to that model of saw. The duckbill valves 69451 I have found on eBay sold by UK vendor japg-mowers and they appear identical to the original style, and inexpensive at about £4 each - less if you buy in bulk. I have also found the guy who runs www.rowenacarbs.co.uk excellent for Walbro parts for both Homelite and Stihl saws. Just a shame that there don't seem to be any Homelite specialists in this country any more. Steve

I contacted JAPG (they are fairly local to me) back in September this year and was told by them that they didn't have stock and that "Unfortunately we will not be getting anymore of these in for a while sorry." I got a Walbro carb overhaul kit from China and it's fitted, in and working fine. Good luck in your search for the intake boot!
