I bought a s450 this time. Yep, Im going for the entire 350, 450, 550, 650, 750, 850 lineup. First I started with the Screened starter cover saws, SEZ XL400 925 etc, just kinda liked the look of the entire series as they look like siblings all lined up. Then I found a good deal on a S550, Liked how it ran and now it looks like Im off again. ;D Does this sickness have a cure? Anyone have any of this series they would like to donate twords my effort?

LOL!
I saw that in your sig and thought about asking if you wanted to sell, But I think we had that conversation a while ago.
With the 350 your sending me, Ill have the 350, 450, 550 section filled. The 550 I have is a fairly clean saw, with a lil touch up it will look like new. The 450 Has yet to arrive, but it too looks rather promising.
All I have left to find are the Expensive ones, I may need a second (3rd?) job.

The old Macs were a premier brand at one time, with Homelite and a few others keeping them honest. Well the 450 came yesserday and I couldnt be happier! Paint is a lil faded and missing in some spots (standard), but it runs VERY well. Fired on the 6th pull from empty and idled right outta the box! After a quick warm up and a 10 min rest she fired on the first pull without choke or throttle lock. The manual (I got the origonal manual too) says there is no HI speed needle? I dont know what to make of this, as my 550 has one..........
