Hi All, I had a moment of cranial rectal placement and spun the clutch off the crank during start up and of course damaged the first couple threads... I measured the crank (.4325) @ 7/16" fine LH thread (24ipt???) First; is that size thread count correct and other than a Homelite shop manual or heading down to the fastener supply house, where would I find that sort of information? I can probably clean them up with a file, but would rather use a die. Again.... Thanks for your knowledge..

It's a reverse thread, so if you try to find a die, keep that in mind. The size sounds correct, but because it's a clutch plate, the size isn't published in a manual that I am aware of.

Thanks, I search for a doc and couldn't find anything. I'll run to the supply house and match the thread. Yes, Left Hand...
