Can a blue prestolite coil from a Super Mini/ Super EZ be used on a Super XL130/76 & XL12?

I don't think the bolt pattern for mounting is the same. But if you were to press out the laminations from each module & swap them it might work.

I just picked up a really clean Super XL76. This thing looks like it was used very little. Hardly a mark on it. The one thing that is obvious is that someone has removed the kill switch. Upon removal of the starter cover I see the blue bomb. I have a suspicion that it may have an ignition problem. Maybe the last person thought it was the switch and just never got around to putting a new one in. That might explain why it has hardly been used.

False alarm. The blue bomber is still throwing blue fire. Nice!! Threw a switch and it’s good to go. Gonna do some genera clean up and test fire this weekend.

The blue coils are all the same. There's a leaf spring holding the armature in, Just hold the back of the spring over so you clear the tab pull pull the armature out.
Same coil on your Pioneer Farmsaw as well.
