That's one of the downsides of living on the prairie. We don't see big saws around here. Not much use for them outside of a tree service.

Hi guys, New to this forum, however, I had to comment on this one. I got started about 20 years ago with one of the early "blue" XL-12s. Still got it today. Several years ago, picked up an SXL and the love affair was off to the races. My goal is now to collect and refurbish a working sample of everything they made in the 50's, 60's and 70's...after that they started using a lot of plastic and I think the quality started to deterioate. I currently have almost 140 units representing 78 unique models. By my best count, there are somewhere over 160 models that were made from the 50's, 60's and 70's - so I am just about 1/2 way there. Info for those of you out there that refurbish,....I am in the process of setting up a decal recreation operation....I have even developed a technique for putting white letters and patterns on clear decal paper. I will let you know when the operation is up and running. Looking forward to being a member of the forum. Happy collecting!! Joe

I will let you know when the operation is up and running. Yes Joe, Please let us know! The easiest way to post pics that I have found is through image shack. www.imageshack.us Simply save this link to your favorites and click on it to host your pics. When you clikc on the link it wil take you to the upload page. On the right of the page you will see a button that says "Browse" click on this and find the file on your comp that you want to upload. Once the file is entered into the Browsebox you need to click "Host it" and the site will take it from your comp and host it on theirs and give you a selection of links you can use on the forum. You want to go to the very last link (direct link) and copy it and paste it into your post. It may sound hard but once you get the hang of it it becomes second nature.
