A person that I'm in contact with frequently on Facebook came across five 2100-series saws in one deal while he was on vacation to the West Coast last year. He bought a couple suitcases at a thrift shop and managed to bring them back with him on the plane which surprised me. He sent a stripped block to me for new seals and bearings the other day. I wanted to make sure that it would pass a pressure/vacuum test before I sent it back so I made a pair of block off plates that work well.

Very nice! What material are you using for gaskets? I usually use inner tube sections cut up, simply because they're handy, but don't really like 'em. These look really good. Dan

dang, wish I could find even one of those in my area, the Portland area is pretty well picked clean now and whats left everyone has taken to pricing based on the highest ebay listing they can find. I've used this stuff with good success when pressure testing things like tanks, and it appears very similar to hat sawnami is using, www.homedepot.com/p/DANCO-6-in-x-6-in-Rubber-Packing-Sheets-59849/203193498
