Hey guys I have an older blue saw with a metal reed valve holder and another round diaphragm with a pin hole in the center. I rebuilt the carburetor and I can’t seem to find where that round rubber diaphragm goes. It really doesn’t fit anywhere except the intake part of carb, but then you couldn’t open the choke lever. All it does now is flood, I rebuilt the tillotson carb and it has spark just has fuel coming out of the muffler. Has a compression of about 125. Any suggestions?

Post some pictures of the carb and round rubber diaphragm. Are you sure you have it on the right end of the carb?

What model Tillotson carb do you have? Most carb kits come with extra parts as they cover several different models of carburetors. You can get carb diagrams on the back of some parts lists and here, click on the carb IPL tab www.leonschainsawpartsandrepair.com/parts-diagrams.html
