Would like to keep the ignition research using the SXL and XL12 points/coil type seperate from the EI study. So far... 1. The magnet is much stronger 2. The flywheel armature gap is the same size as the coil armature center post. I feel this is for very fast magnetic power reversal in the coil/armature central post. I can speculate why but I want to do a few tests before making a conclusion. 3. Primary of coil terminal to ground approx 1 ohm 4. Secondary plug connection to terminal approx 7.25k ohms 5 capacitor/condenser approx .22uF- 0 uamp leakage at 400 VDC more to follow:
