I have a ut-10694b serial hp1190821 xl saw. I am working on repairing the oil tank lines. I am missing the a-07508 fitting vent and the duckbill 96841. Is that vent replacing what other posts have referred to as a porous material made of metal? My other saws of similar design have a plastic square shaped piece that duckbill goes on one end and pulse line on the other end. Are there different versions of this part? I would like to get multiple red duckbills if they are more durable than the black ones. Any thoughts on if nos should be avoided due to aging of material? Who has them? Dan

I never use ethanol so that is good. The square plastic piece that my other saws have does not look like the one in picture of a07508. Does that piece have to be oriented a certain way to work proper in the oil tank? I sent you an order, but i need more duckbill. I may check with chainsawlady to see if she has some red duckbills on hand(96841). I really enjoy this site, everybody is very helpful, even to novices like me. Thanks again Dan

We were all novices at one time.
