I am sorry to learn of Bob Cornwell's passing. He was known as McBob the McCulloch chainsaw guy. He was a very educational guy and sadly his large website of information is also gone. He played with a lot of saw brands. I did save a lot of his info and actually purchased an information disc from him. Glad I did. Anything you learn about one brand of saw may be able to be applied to other brands as well. Use some experimentation and imagination and learn something new! This link ended up being a poor save but it might motivate some experimentation. I have done this lost of times on lots of different brands of saws. I think the info from McBob will give you a picture to try your own luck. Rest in peace Bob. Link to module replacement info. drive.google.com/file/d/1TPmlTSx_t-7dtEq2OimO6IW-IMOB32I3/view?usp=sharingNew and better document with proper credit to creator Bob Cornwell and special thank's to oologahn for making it nice and legible. He has some skills!! Thanks!!

I'm very sorry to hear this. McBob was an inspiration. He's been on AS for as long as I can remember and always added an entertaining perspective and much valuable information.

I am sorry to learn of Bob Cromwell's passing. He was known as McBob the McCulloch chainsaw guy. He was a very educational guy and sadly his large website of information is also gone. What was the web address? You can go back in time and still view/download some of the stuff.

I cleaned up the page Tom made and sent it to his email address listed on his profile and told him he could do what he wanted with it. I put his and Bob's name on it and added a better and newer picture of the electronic chip. Some of the text was squished under the pictures, but I was able to retrieve it and line it up fairly nicely. I hope I didn't ruffle any feathers in doing this, I did tell him he could throw it away if he wasn't interested in it. It is nice to see someone from back in the old (lol) days posting again, especially someone that has so much to offer.
