I'm wanting to fabricate an A-93791 S-clutch tool. What I would like to have is the measurement between the two pins, C/L to C/L. Have seen many clutch tools for other saw manufacturers for sale, just wanted to build the tool according to Homelite specs. Any help would be appreciated.

This is what I use: 5643ap1s by
www.mcmaster.com/#5643a47/=1c74lozI knocked the pins out and turned the 5/16" ends down to 3/16". I have a small lathe but it could be done by chucking in a drill press and using a file. Then it fits any spacing. Even without holes, the pins can be leaned against shoulders or whatever on the part you want to hold or unscrew.

Thank you, figured if I would use the same dimensions as Homelite engineered into their own tool, I wouldn't break anything. Much appreciated for taking the time.
