There were two different throttle rod boots, both listed as part number 67634. There was another boot for the larger earlier saws like the 2000, 2100, XP1100, 1130 etc, that throttle rod boot was part number 58438. The early and late model 67634 are shown below, early first picture and late model second picture. I think the change was in the early to mid 1970s. The third picture is of the 58438 throttle boot which seems to be NLA. The last picture is of the Stihl throttle boot 1122-182-0700. Wow, thanks. I just checked 2 of my 1050's are missing the boot and one it's falling apart, my C72 is falling apart too. Might buy a dozen.
