Any recommendations or better yet instructions on pressure and vacuum testing crankcase? I mainly want to know like how much pressure to build during test and vacuum as well. I’ve already built plate for intake guess I gotta build one for exhaust too just haven’t gotten quite that far yet...lol been busy at work today

I think most of the seals are rated for 8-10PSI, but I'm hoping someone with more knowledge will comment on this. You will need a plate for the intake & exhaust. I'll have to dig for it, but I think I remember a service memo that detailed plate sizes. Perhaps there were instructions there on pressures...

I would not worry too much about the pressure, the seals are rated for running pressure, not static as during a test. They would stand quite a bit more pressure static without damage.
I think 10 psi is plenty, what you want to know is how fast that pressure leaks down after you stop pumping. I would say it should take at least a minute and hopefully 10 to loose 2 psi or so. I do not know what the factory story is on this so if someone can find a memo, that would be better.

Thanks Greg! I must have used the wrong keywords, because I didn't find that post in the search.
I remember seeing a video from The Chainsaw Guy on youtube where he sprayed soapy water on the the seals and then slowly applied pressure. Bubbles equaled a leak.
