Parts for THAT chainbrake would probably be very hard to come by. First one I have ever seen also.

Yeah, I suspect flying pigs come around more often!

They are pretty neat and you do't see 'em very often. Here's a pic of one of mine with the inside so you can see the guts. Dan

A guy on Facebook has two of the chain brake 750's in his collection! That other saw from Aust ebay was mine as well - recognised my photo lol. The chain brake option isn't common, but you do come across them here in Australia. The std 750 isn't as common as the 750E out here, whereas you guys in the USA see loads of them. Chris

Ah, I didn't realize you were on HOH Chris! After comparing pics I see the saw on the right is the one I saw on Ebay. It's too bad most Australian sellers won't ship to the US...I want one of those chain brake saws bad!

I don’t think they are the same saw. Try blowing up the pics and look again.

I don’t think they are the same saw. Try blowing up the pics and look again. Correct, they are different saws. I will keep my eye out for more, and let you know. I have traded plenty of saws with US collectors, and only too happy to do so. About 85% of my big Homelites have all come out of the USA! Chris
