Well, were getting spammed rather frequently, about once a month or so. Thats OK, its all part of a forum growing, when you get big enough to get noticed, you'll get this. For helping me get this place on the (Spammers) Map, I would like to thank you all. All we can really do is to delete these attacks and place a permanent ban on the IP, Email, and Username of the individual and hope they move on. That and publicly list their Email here. This wont do too much, But it will tie up the web crawlers with finding their own Email Addy's and they'll actually start spamming themselves! Ill begin the list with.... WOW GOLD jingshijie@gmx.com You can use these as fill for forms you dont want to use your real Email on, or just spam them and pass them around. Turnabout is fair play.

rbw when i had my business forum site till hostmonster turned it off before i had a chance to move the database over i never had one spammer register but that i guess was a smf forum
i remember phpbb had alot when i had that forum software spammers every day sometimes 15 a day talking about deleting it kept me busy most the time it is a proxy server which cannot be located cause sometimes it shows up in the middle of the ocean as far as tracking the ip address i usually verify email addresses before i approved someone if i saw a bogus email i never approved them
just like that gmx.com is one of them bogus emails
