Here's a little more information about the Sawdust collection. When I first learned to use the computer with the help of my grandson, I asked him if I could do something like this to let other people see the Magazines. He decided it would be too much for me to learn. I did have Staples make a copy of all of them for a member I met one of the forums. Then I thought our Homelite rep from Indianapolis who we knew and liked well. Started working at branch after high school and stayed until the quit having branches. So I decided I could make copies of all the magazines. Took a lot of time on my little copier and a lot of ink. But was disappointed that he didn't seem to enjoy getting them. He grew up with Homelite the same as we did. I thank everyone for appreciating the fact I am known to save everything and had a strong desire to get it done. Greg and Leon were able to get the job done. chainsawlady (Joyce)

Thanks so much Joyce, it is so wonderful when someone like you takes the time to save the history. This stuff is priceless, giving a hint into how things used to be and allowing folks to decide if they like that way or modern stuff. For many this is before they were born and there is no way they would be able to see it otherwise.
And of course, it takes Greg and Leon to bring the history to the rest of us, many thanks to all of you.

Joyce, Greg and Leon. My thanks to you all. I really enjoyed cruising through the magazine. I have not finished and will go again. I especially like the announcement/article of the 707D in may of 61 since that is sort of my favorite Homelite.
