It appears from an eBayish perspective that Super XL 925's are popular ...
Why is that so?

Some saws are just more popular than others.

They are very torquey saws and, as long as they are tuned properly, very durable. They are one of the strongest 82cc saws you can find, even if they don't spin as fast as the new stuff. That being said, I think they are over-valued on Ebay. I've seen saws with seized engines sell for over $100 and that is just plain nuts. I keep hoping the madness will end, but so far it hasn't!

I like the chrome looking grill around the pull cord housing ... it's like the Super EZ ... yeah, the eBay price thing is out a control. A lot of Saws sell out of the East or Midwest and shipping to me in Calif. is horrible. Time to hit the flea markets.

Seeing the price the sell for now, kinda glad I never sold the one I have when I was having carb issues. The ol girl's been running great cutting up a bunch of large firewood this year definitely a beast of a saw when running right, will definitely out cut my dad's Husky 455 Rancher, though you'll be sore running a 925XL all day.

I just bought one off CL over the weekend, guy used it a couple years cutting spear holes in the ice. It was too cheap to let go by. Runs good but I don't know what I will do with it. Sorta like the two Zips I have only they don't run.
