I'd like to restore old home lite from the early 70's. Been in the family for years. Got it running but i was told the "clutch" is gone. Anyone know which replacement parts will work for SUPER EZ 43100062??? Thanks!!

The EZ used a number of different clutches; you'll want to look at what is on it to match or you may end up replacing the sprocket to match your chosen clutch.
S-Style with cover plate: A-69953-A S-Style: 68362 (you've got to watch this one; their were two different thread sizes on these with the same part number stamped in the clutch. 68362-1A or 68362-7 will work.) 98132: 3-shoe late model style There was also a 3-shoe clutch that looked like a small version of the SXL style clutch. I haven't found a part# for the assembly, but the shoes are 65892 and the springs are 65217
Any one of these can be found on Ebay fairly easily.
Hope this helps!

I'm new to this board so I'll just add my $.02. I have a 1977 or 78 super EZ which I bought new. The model is UT-104033 and has an S clutch that has broken in two pieces. I was told I could use a three (3) spring clutch P/N 1A-98132. Not knowing if this is correct as the old S clutch has a 2 screw plate Homelite Super EZ.pdf (309.41 KB) and don't know if this stack up will work. Any thoughts? I attempted to attach a pdf of schematic. The threads on this 3 spring clutch are a match fit on this saw. I'm concerned about items 16 & 25 not being interchangeable. I believe the assy P/N is A69953.

I believe the assy P/N is A69953. For ease of replacement, I'd find another S-type clutch; plenty of them around. The three shoe clutch can be used also, but you'll need the inner thrust washer as well. This setup does not use an outer clutch plate with the fastening screws. Your Super EZ should have a eight digit serial number, the first digit represents the year of manufacture; 7 or 8 in your case. If it has the nine digit serial number, the second character will be the year of manufacture. Good luck. Steve
