Howdy. I've been resurrecting my dad's 360 that's been out of service for a few years now and while cleaning it up I noticed that the oil holes in the bar don't line up with the channel in the saw. It's a Homelite bar but I don't know if it is the original, I'm thinking probably not. The saw has an adjustable oil pump on it and Dad had it turned all the way up. probably in order for it to slobber enough oil to lube the bar. What bar do I need? I don't see any numbers on this one (I will go look again). Thank you. Scott.

I believe the adjustable oil pump shows that it is an early model. The one the I have with an adjustable pump takes a smaller mount bar than the later ones. Mine came with a large mount XL-12 type bar and it blocked the oil pump outlet holes and wouldn't oil. I tried a bar for a Super EZ on it and the holes matched up. The bar on the left is the small mount. The center is a universal mount. The right is a large mount. They're all Homelite branded bars.

Thanks Sawnami. Mine is like the one on the right in your photo, and the one it should have is like the one on the left? That one appears to be correct. You're right, this saw's a UT 10486 built in '77.

That's correct. You need one like the one on the left. The center one will work with either.

I was talkin' to my Dad about it this morning and he said that it originally came with a 20" bar that might be hanging in the saddle shed so I went out and found it and it's the universal type like the center one in the pic. Funny thing, this 16" bar is in good condition and I know it was oiling somehow but I'll bet with the correct bar,if nothing else, at least bar oil consumption should go down. Thank you Sawnami for sorting this out for me. I do appreciate it.
