Uggh.
I realize that times have passed with these older Homelies , but they run like a champ and with a bit of fiddeling, I can run the heck out of them.
Trouble is oiling systems.
I have 4 of these saws and getting parts is kind of a problem.
I fix them all myself. I can get any carb kit. But I can't seem to find some oiling gaskets, especially to the pulse oiling systems. I surf ebay all the time. IS THERE SUCH A HOMELITE MECHANIC THAT KNOWS EVERYTHING?
Maybe an older guy with that knowledge will tell me which parts can swap out- or use in substitution when I can't find the right parts.
I need to find him and talk.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who is a 1970's chain saw Homelite "everything" guru ?
Joe ... in....they run forever but they stop oiling after 10 years.... saw heaven ohio
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
