I'd like to convert my Super ez from 3/8 to .325. It currently has a NON floating sprocket type clutch drum. I bought a floating sprocket drum from ebay and a .325 sprocket, but the sprocket was to small to fit the drum . Does anyone have a solution for this conversion? Thanks! Attachments:

the only thing i can think of is drill out new rim sprocket to size and re-notch with a file.
its not the first time ive changed sprocket and teeth ratios.

I mainly wanted the change up to have more bar options. But it seems making the change at the saw end is more difficult than i expected. So my next move will to find a pro tip bar and change the tip to 3/8. Im wanting an 18 in. bar thats light weight as not to make the saw nose heavy. We all know how light the power head is to begin with. Thanks for helping out tribulation138. Much appreciative

You got a small 7 spline rim. You need a standard 7 spline rim. The difference is the standard 7 spline rim is 9 tooth and your small 7 spline is 7 tooth. The standard 7 spline rim should be readily available via Oregon part number 13624.

Is there a part # you could provide me with for a clutch drum that will allow my small 7 spline 7 tooth rim sprocket to fit? I think i would rather keep a 7 tooth for more chain speed vs. a 9 tooth. Am i thinking this right? Or would the 9 tooth provide more chain speed? Thanks again! Shane.

9 tooth will give you more chain speed.

added later.
Whichever way to try to go having a solid nose bar will make thing easier. One less item(sprocket nose) to worry about
