Hi I am new to the group.......I have owned my xl 902am since 1978..it was used commercially before that.........anyway I have noticed that it needs some tlc so I pulled the crank yesterday ..........I am a mechanic so had no problems pulling the saw apart.....I need some parts and want to order them...........does anyone know how I can view a parts list on the computer....(exploded diagram)..where is the best place to get my seals, rings and bearings.....how close is the xl 901or other 900 series to my saw.........thank terry gower

If so, what else does it say? Is it made in Port Chester, NY? I don't have a reference to a XL-902 but it could be an export model. As far as the XL-900's they were either 2" bore or 2 1/16" bore but I only show the XL-900, XL-901, XL-903, and XL-904. Are you in the US?

That helps! My guess is that it is very close to the XL-901 except the US XL-901 did not have an Automatic oil pump but the XL-903 had both manual and automatic as your saw does. 2" rings are part#55038

thanks tom.....these exploded diagrams are exactly what I was looking for .........didn't have time to look at it earlier when I posted the link to the xl902am....I couldn't seem to find them myself....too much info on the net sometimes..........
I think I can wade through the differences now....my saw was probably just assembled in canada...although it does have an automatic and manual oiler as well as a two inch bore....I will put a micrometer on the bore just to make sure though.....there may have been some importation advantages if they were assembled in canada.............

Hi:
I found the seals for the Homelite xl 902am..they are a SKF part number 6120.......
The saw is all back together and runs great....it should the engine is pretty all but new now....
thanks to Dewayne for help finding the parts I needed....I found all the parts on my list ......
the saw handle was broken and I bought a new one through CHAINSAWR and found his service fast and affordable............
