Hi everyone. I first have to start off by saying I'm sorry. A few weeks ago I had my kids check a few part numbers on the parts list to see what they were going for on places like E-bay, Jack's, M & D, etc... (the fuel cap price debate spurred me to have them do some checking). Well, apparently some prices got adjusted upwards from what I had them listed at. I think I have put all of my prices back to where they were, but I may have missed one or two. If you have an old list with a lower price on a part you need, let me know and I will change my price to reflect the old price. The only part I won't change the price on is DA-69500-B, as I don't want someone to buy them just to re-sell them.
After I went through and made the corrections to the prices (I think only around 15 were changed) I started checking to see if certain parts were still available from Homelite. If you see a price that does not end in .95 then that part is still available and can be ordered in whatever quantity you need. I have done this so you can easily tell whether I have checked to see if the part is currently available. As I get orders for parts that I run out of I check to see if they are still available. Many times they are still available, but at significantly higher prices than what I have NOS listed at. If the price is what I deem as too high, I will not order the part in unless I have someone needing one (I do make a note in the list that states that it is still available and what the price would be). This keeps me from having a bunch of money tied up in parts that no-one needs.
I have also been going to the local bearing supplier to see if any Homelite bearings are still available via normal bearing parts channels. So far I have found that 63195 Crankshaft Roller Bearing for 650 saws are no longer available through normal bearing supply houses (they also have several suppliers that have shelves of old obsolete bearings that they check, they were NLA there too). I have them checking on a few seals that are NLA also. I will continue to do this as I find bearings and seals that are NLA from Homelite.
If there is anything that you would like me to check on, let me know and I will do my best to help you out.
As always, thank you.
Dewayne
